• Registration date ("Member since")
• Data about your Volvo (model, year, photos and description)
• Responses to blog posts (if active)
• IP address (only for verifying upload origin)
• Private messages you send or receive (content and timestamp)

3. Why do we collect this data?

• To create and manage your account
• To display your profile and cars on the site
• To improve our website
• For communication about updates or responses (optional)
• Photos and content may be shared on our social media with attribution of your name. For use in other promotional contexts (such as a book or campaign) we will always ask your explicit permission first
• To enable private messaging between logged-in members

No, we do not share your personal data with third parties, unless required by law or necessary for the functioning of the site (such as hosting or analytics).

We use functional and analytical cookies to keep the website running properly. IP addresses are anonymized where possible. We use Google Analytics to analyse website usage. Analytical cookies are only placed after your consent via the cookie banner.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we also delete your personal data and uploads.

We take appropriate technical measures to keep your data secure, such as encrypted storage via Supabase and secure connections.

10. Private messages

Logged-in members can send private messages to other members. These messages are stored in our database and are only visible to the participants of the conversation. Messages are retained as long as the account is active and deleted when the account is removed. In exceptional cases (such as reports of abuse), moderators may review message content for moderation purposes.
